High definition Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) provides real time imaging of the retina, optic nerve, and anterior segment. Visual field testing is available to assess visual function. An ultrasonography suite is available for diagnostic studies.
Drs. Gale and Williams are trained to handle severe eye diseases and ocular emergencies. These include vitreoretinal disease, uveitis (eye inflammation), optic neuropathy, glaucoma, trauma, ocular oncology, ocular infections, and orbital disease. They serve as clinical instructors at SUNY Upstate Medical University, Department of Ophthalmology, and lecture to the ophthalmology residents on these diseases. Both doctors are natives of the Mohawk Valley, and have a deep commitment to their hometown community. They have returned to the area as Board Certified Ophthalmologists and Vitreoretinal Surgeons after each completing 9 years of medical, surgical, and specialty training. Their mission is to provide the highest quality care for severe eye disease in a compassionate environment where the patient is the primary focus.
Because many ocular conditions require urgent attention, our physicians are available 24 hours a day.
